ASPack Software has issued updates for the ASPack, ASProtect, ASProtect 32 (SKE) and ASProtect 64 products. Below is the list of updates and improvements.
ASPack 2. 43 • Fixed error 0xc0000005 that occurred when running a compressed file that was created with C runtime for Visual Studio 2017. The error occurred because of the corruption of the TLS data that were not moved into a separate section. • ASPack status bar now displays the path to the file being compressed. • Fixed error 0xc0000005 that rarely occurred when trying to reactivate ASPack. • Fixed error that caused the deletion of spaces around the section name. • User guide updates. ASProtect 1.78 • Fixed error 0xc0000005 that occurred when running a compressed file that was created with C runtime for Visual Studio 2017. The error occurred because of the corruption of the TLS data that were not moved into a separate section. • Improved processing of the error that occurred when trying to protect an already protected file. • Fixed error 0xc0000005 when running ASProtect. The error occurred rarely after modifications to the computer’s hardware or when activating ASProtect on Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise. • User guide updates. ASProtect 32 (SKE) 2. 78 • Fixed error 0xc0000005 that occurred when running a compressed file that was created with C runtime for Visual Studio 2017. The error occurred because of the corruption of the TLS data that were not moved into a separate section. • Added check for an empty activation key for the CheckKey and CheckKeyAndDecrypt API functions. • Fixed error 0xc0000005 when running ASProtect 32 (SKE). The error occurred rarely after modifications to the computer’s hardware. • Fixed error when compiling the examples with the help of bat files provided along with ASProtect 32 (SKE). Applies for Delphi XE and newer. • User guide updates. ASProtect 64 2018.2 • Fixed ‘Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object’ error that sometimes occurred when protecting an application and using secured classes. |
