Hi,
for year I have used ASPROTECT ver. 1.xx
the compression of the file (with max compression) is very efficient...

with new version if I try to use Best Compression the compression is not efficient how precedent version

some sample:

ver 1.xx (max compression)

EXE 120 MB -> ~ 42 MB

ver. in use 2.76 build 10.17

EXE 120 MB -> ~ 86 MB (best compression)

???

Hello Alessandro,

Would you please send us the unprotected application with aspr and asrp2 file projects at support@aspack.com for further investigation.

Hi,

Unfortunately I have not installed ver. 1.xx
I remember a "maximum compression" option

you do not need a test a specific exe file ... all were compressed with an efficiency of about 40-45% more

Dear Alessandro,

We have tried on our test samples and have not found any problems.
Compression ratio is good in both ASProtect and ASProtect 32.
